For someone who loves learning and structured, scheduled, and busy days (school), I really love summer. It’s a chance to make my own exciting, nonstop plans for each day (daunting, but a challenge I readily accept), to do things I wouldn’t usually be able to do during the school year, and travel to new places.
While this summer may look very different, there is still the opportunity to add some adventure and fun to our lives.
Along with the usual summer activities (a lot of spending time outdoors), for me, it’s also going to be a summer of editing, contests, and submissions as I take advantage of the extra time to work on my writing and publishing goals.
Don’t take this unusual summer for granted – I encourage you to make the most of every unique opportunity, be creative, keep learning, and discover new adventures even around your own home.
