A few months back, I emailed a friend and fellow writer, Ruth Ann of mytapestryofgrace.blogspot.com, to ask if she would like to do a guest blog post exchange. Both new to the blogging world, I thought it would be a great opportunity for us to practice our online writing skills and share our work with a wider audience.
I was thrilled when she said yes, and the door to the guest blogging world opened wide in front of us. It was a challenge at times to work together remotely, but a challenge we embraced through a series of exciting back-and-forth planning emails.
We decided to focus on writing about the connection between writing and our faith. We both took different directions on the topic, but the message unified in an amazing way.

It was a huge encouragement to partner up with a fellow writer on a project, and something I hope to do again in the future. I would encourage any beginning blogger to team up with a friend – alone, this world of publishing can be intimidating, but together it can be an exciting new adventure.
