I recently had two more devotionals published in Unlocked: “Do Not Be Afraid” and “Barrier Breaking Love.” One is a poem about fear, and the other is about the good news of God’s love, the gospel, for everyone.
Do Not Be Afraid
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.”

“Do Not Be Afraid” is my first poem published in Unlocked! It’s about overcoming fear through faith in Jesus.

Barrier-Breaking Love
“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Galatians 3:28 (NIV)
Our world is full of divisions, and it seems that there are so many things that separate us from each other. But we have more things in common than we might realize.
All people have sinned, and all people need a Savior. That Savior is Jesus. He reached out to outcasts and showed them love, a love that breaks down all barriers. Then He died and rose again from death to rescue us, and His rescue is for everyone who believes in Him! John 3:16 puts it this way:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 (NIV)
As Christians, through Jesus, we are united as one family of believers.
