I recently had two more devotionals published in Unlocked that I’d love to share with you. The first is about perseverance, and the second is about perspective.
The End in Sight
May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NIV)
How do we persevere through hard times? By keeping the end in sight. The book of 2 Thessalonians is all about finding the strength to persevere by keeping an eternal perspective: remembering the good news of the gospel and the promise of Jesus’ return.

Look Up
“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 8:12 (NIV)
I went stargazing multiple times last summer and spotted planets, constellations, meteors, and even a comet. Those beautiful summer nights looking up at the sky inspired me to write this piece about finding hope in the darkness of the world by remembering that Jesus, the light of the world, is with us in the dark.
