Well, it happened: another milestone on the writing adventure. After many years of writing stories, I have my first one published! It’s a short story in Unlocked Daily Readings for Teens. The fact that it’s science fiction is especially exciting for me—the first novel I ever wrote was science fiction.
Writing this for a devotional was an interesting and fun challenge: a gospel-based flash fiction science fiction story that also teaches a lesson. That’s a lot of things in under 350 words!
I’m so grateful for this opportunity and thrilled to be able to share this story about leadership and teamwork with the world today.
